David Schwimmer (Hebrew דוד שװימער, innate November 12, 1966) is a Jewish American actor, born in Astoria, New York, USA. He is better known for his role when Ross Geller in the television sitcom Friends. He earned an Emmy Award nomination within the Outstanding Supporting Actor in the Comedy Series category for Friends inside 1995 and frequently directed episodes of the acclaimed comedy series.
His film credits include Apt Pupil, The Pallbearer, Breast Men, Kissing a Fool, Six Days Seven Nights, and Madagascar (voice). Schwimmer likewise appeared in the Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks television production Band of Brothers.
Innate inside Future York & raised around Los Angeles, Schwimmer was encouraged by the high school teacher to attend a summertime program inside acting at Northwestern University.
